Setting Field Report Types
To set a template to a certain Type from the list view, go to the "Templates" tab, select the intended template, followed by the "Edit" button. You will see a section on the right to select a Type.
In this same screen, you will notice a "3 dot" menu to the right of the Template row, as you can also use that button to create a report, if need be.
Filtering
To Filter your individual reports, make sure the "Reports" tab is selected. Click the "Filters" tab on the top right, as you can then filter by Report Date, Created By, Status, Template Type, Notes.
When viewing any list of reports, you can now also filter via the "Type" column, in addition to Report Date, Status, Created By, and Last Updated.
Searching
On the web, you can quickly search through all of the Field Reports on your project by it's description or Notes
What does Field Reports Search search by?
- Text entered into the form fields on a PDF report
- Report Description
- Report Notes
Example #1: Searching by text in the form fields on a PDF report
In the example above, the user searched by the keyword 'leak,' text found under work_performed in the form fields on the submitted daily report.
Example #2: Searching by text in the Report Description
You can also search by keywords entered in the report title, for example 'Room 2'. The report description is displayed underneath the date for each report listed in the search results.
Example #3: Searching by text in the Report Notes
You can also search by keywords entered in the Report Notes field, for example '4:30pm'.
