Terminology
Master Purchaser: User account that manages the credit card used to buy tenant subscriptions.
Tenant: A PlanGrid user assigned to a subscription managed by a master.
Tenant Subscription: A subscription for a PlanGrid plan (Nailgun, Dozer, Crane) managed by a master purchaser. A cancelled subscription is still valid until the end of the billing period, but recurring payments no longer occur at the service period end.
How to purchase a subscription for another user
To purchase a subscription for another user, go to your Account Settings page, and click on "buy for your team"
You will be taken to a payment screen, similar to when you upgrade your own account. The only difference will be that you will need to input the email address associated with the tenant's account
Please note: Only users that don't have any other subscription/upgrade will be able to be upgraded this way.
Once you complete your purchase, you (the master purchaser) will be emailed a receipt. In addition, a notification email will be sent to the tenant you specified informing them of the subscription offer.

Once you purchase at least one subscription for another user, your account details page will show a new section: “Subscriptions you manage.”
Each tenant subscription can have three states:
Invitation sent: An email has been assigned, the tenant hasn't accepted it yet
Assigned: A PlanGrid user is currently a tenant is using the subscription
Unassigned: The subscription hasn't been assigned yet.
How to manage other users' subscriptions
The master purchaser has a set of options per managed subscription, you can access under each tenant's subscription by clicking on "Options":
Assign Subscription: Assign an email to an existing tenant subscription
Remove tenant: Removes the tenant user from the subscription
Upgrade Subscription: Upgrade the tenant subscription’s PlanGrid plan (From Nailgun to Dozer, for example)
Cancel Invite: Cancels a pending invitation to a tenant subscription
Cancel Subscription: This stops the recurring payments. The subscription remains available until the end of the payment period.
Can I delete the Master Purchaser account?
The master purchaser account cannot be deleted when active subscriptions exist. The master purchaser will need to cancel all recurring payments before deleting their account.
I was sent a subscription invite from a Master Purchaser
A tenant will see a subscription offer appear when they login to their account on a web browser. They will need to accept or reject this offer. If they reject the offer by mistake, the master purchaser will need to re-assign the subscription to repeat the offer.
From the tenant user’s account page, they can see their managed subscription and the email of the master purchaser.
The tenant can leave their managed subscription via the button at the bottom of their account settings page:
