Drafting a new RFI on Web
As a Collaborator or Power Collaborator
To Create an RFI on the web, open the RFIs page and click “New RFI.”
Next, add a title, fill in your question, attach any references, and click “Send to Manager.” Any team member creating an RFI, no matter what their role, is able to add references at this point in the creation process. If you’re a Collaborator or Power Collaborator on the project, your RFI will be sent to the default RFI Manager for review before being sent for an answer. At this point, you can also save the RFI as a draft to complete later.
As an Admin
As an RFI Manager, you can create RFIs and send them directly to your Reviewer.
Begin by clicking “Create RFI” on the RFIs page. Next, add a title, fill in your question, and attach any references. You can also change the RFI Manager at this point. When you’re ready, click “Send to reviewer.” Or, if you’d like to save the RFI to edit it later on, click “Save as draft.”
On the following page, you’re able to change the Reviewer and due date. When you’re ready, click “Send to reviewer.”
At this point, your RFI Reviewer will receive an email with an attached PDF including all details and references.
